Friends with websites

People I know who have their own personal websites. This list is nowhere near complete. If you have a site and should be on it, let me know.

  • Seth Bame: My business partner and Co-CEO at Savoy Companies. He builds buildings and, lately, software.
  • Nick Gray: Wrote The 2-Hour Cocktail Party. The reason this website exists.
  • Chris Powers: Host of POWERS, out of Fort Worth. He had me on before anyone else did.
  • Jimmy Atkinson: Host of the Opportunity Zones Podcast. Nobody has talked to more people in OZ.
  • Stephen Olmon: Dallas native and an operator in private equity. He starts, buys and invests in businesses with friends, and he is growing a family while he does it.
  • Coy Davidson: A friend from X who lives in Houston. A true expert in medical real estate, though he can guide you to the best enchilada in any part of Houston even faster than the best building.
  • Evan Moore: Cofounder of DoorDash, an early executive at Opendoor and a VC at Khosla Ventures. Now he invests in about 15 startups a year, usually as one of the first checks.
  • James Neeld: Real estate development attorney. He writes about deal structure and entitlements, and fantasy fiction on the side.
  • Mitchell Baldridge: CPA, CFP and founder of three financial services companies. He helps real estate investors and business owners legally pay less tax.
  • Jack Stone: Multifamily capital markets broker at Greysteel, investor and podcast host. One of the sharpest reads on the Texas apartment market.
  • Ken Ashley: Corporate real estate broker at Cushman & Wakefield in Atlanta, and a good friend. He teaches as much as he brokers.
  • Moses Kagan: Los Angeles apartments. Reading his posts is how I learned to use Twitter.
