I joined Quinn Edwards on the AI for CRE Podcast, episode 11. It was the first time I’ve gone on a show to talk about AI and not Opportunity Zones.
We covered three things. About 20 of our leaders have Claude loaded with the firm’s context and a shared set of skills, which took the Friday update from an hour to five minutes. Seth and I keep the company’s knowledge in one linked set of notes that AI can read. And Seth built the operating system that pulls about ten of our software systems onto one screen.
We also talked about what we won’t do. No AI in front of residents, vendors or subcontractors. We’d rather give our people superpowers. The less glamorous lesson: AI forces you to clean up your data first.
